Save the Children, UNICEF South Sudan and UNKEA representtives after signing the MoU in Juba

South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit and ECW Executive Director Yasmine Sherif jointly announce multi-year education programme in Juba, calling on donors to scale up funding support for South Sudan and beyond.

Kapoeta, South Sudan - Bishop Sisto Mazzoldi,  a faith-based primary school in Kapoeta South, Eastern Equatoria State, South Sudan is one of the five schools supported by Save the Children through funding from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).

Safety in school is crucial in ensuring children have access to quality education through a supportive learning environment that allow them to develop to their full potential.
